Edge pass filters are use to isolate one band of wavelengths from another by either reflecting or transmitting one band while transmitting or reflecting the second band.

Iridian has an extensive range of edge pass filters with edge wavelengths (CWL) from 405nm to 9.5um . All our filters are thin-film and hard-coated for exceptional steepness, blocking and filter durability. Our edge filters are used for many different applications including telecommunications, spectroscopy, environmental sensing and medical diagnostic equipment.

Iridian also offers customized spectroscopic edge pass filters for a range of wavelengths (UV, visible and SWIR – 400 to 1400 nm) and for various angles of incidence (AoI). Extra wide wavelength blocking is also possible.
