Beam Combiner filters are used to combine two free space different beams with different wavelengths into one beam with both wavelengths combined. These filters are typically used at an angle of incidence of 45 and two beams are combined by transmitting one of the beams through the filter and reflecting the other beam off the filter. An example of a beam combiner filter is one that combines 488 nm and 632 nm laser beams into one beam.
